Playing at the Park

Today we are greatful that there is a park nearby our house. Daniel and I took advantage of the nice weather yesterday and walked over to the park. 

This is our park.



Daniel is really interested though in "his" swing at the park, he grinned and started jabbering away when we reached it yesterday.

We played with the swing for almost thirty minutes yesterday. Daniel will tell you it was a lot of fun!

Then we went over to the big playground to play for a while. Daniel can only go down the slide with Mom, so we went down the slide together.

I am greatful that we live close by this park! It is so much fun right now to walk over there and play with Daniel. We were there for almost an hour and a half! (With a 5 months old attention span, this was a long time)!  He loves watching the bigger kids running and playing at the park, and you can just see it in his eyes that he wishes he could go run with them.  I tell him "soon you will be able too!"
