Jen and Daniel's Excellent Adventures: At the "Train Park" And More

Last week, Daniel had been having intermittent diarrhea and some other tummy issues, however, by Friday when I got home from work, it was really bad. My mom informed me anytime she gave him anything, it was going right through him. And he had an absolutely, awful diaper rash and sore bottom :( So, I took him over to Instacare, where they looked at him, and I spoke with the doctor. Her main concern with consistent diarrhea is dehydration, (he wasn't) thanks to the water and Gatorade my mom had given him all day long, she ended up basically saying that essentially it was a virus that had wiped out all the bad and good bacteria right out of his system, and told me to go by Culterelle capsules and open one of those a day and give it to him in his food and to avoid dairy products as that aggravates the condition until he was feeling better. After that fun visit, we went and got the Culterelle and he started improving.
Saturday was super fun! On our way to what Daniel calls the "Train Park", near our house, we stopped by a yard sale and he found a stuffed bear bigger than he is! Well, he picked it up and asked the gal "how much? my bear?" The lady laughed, and informed me she was giving it to Daniel for free. Daniel loves watching trucks, and trains, and tractors! So he loves it when we go to this particular park! We went and played there for a couple hours and he was in heaven, especially as 3 trains went by while we were there! Sunday we carpooled with my brother and his family (side note, Daniel calls my sister in law Uncle Brookeh, not sure why, but it's super cute) anyway, and we went to our niece's baby blessing. It was really nice and Baby Lizzie looked really cute in her blessing dress. Afterwards, we came back home and had lunch and visited, before going to our annual, monthly "birthday dinner" on my mom's side. That was lots of fun too! It was in an Aunt and Uncle's backyard, and they have a really cool playground, and bouncy house back there, and a really cool swing in their front yard that Daniel loved!! Today, Daniel and I went with my parents and 3 of my sisters and ended up having "brunch" at Village Inn. However, we waited pretty long for our table to open up, and by that time Daniel was beyond done and throwing a fit, so I ended up taking him out, after a while I attempted to take him back in but he just threw another fit, so my sister kindly took him while I ate my meal, and we boxed up his pancakes and he had them for dinner. We went for two long walks today (to try and calm some trying behavior) and it worked. Somewhere in between there, I cut Daniel's hair, which looks much better!! We also ended up having a good, long visit with Great Grandma and Grandpa Walker while on one of our walks! It was nice!
