Halloween Saturday Fun!

Saturday after Daniel got up from his nap, we packed him up and headed up to Eric's parents house to have a little halloween party with Eric's family which was tons of fun. While shopping with a friend a while back I found a cute little monkey halloween outfit that also doubles as a sleeper, and since Daniel is our little monkey, I couldn't pass it up! We visited, had a wonderful dinner, watched a couple hallmark halloween movies in a" Good Witch" series which were very fun. The whole time watching it though, the main character played by Catherine Bell, I kept thinking, "That's Mac, from JAG!" But it was fun.

We put Daniel down at 7 and watched the second movie with Eric's parents after my brother and sister-in-law had headed home. Then unfortunately, we had to wake Daniel up to put him in his carseat (he was not a happy buddy), thankfully though he fell asleep about 2 minutes into the drive home. However, as we were getting him out of the car, a car nearby in our apartment complex chose that EXACT moment to go off, and woke him up.

So we came in, put him down in his crib, and he cried for about half and hour before settling down and going back to sleep. It was a fun time, Daniel loves seeing his cousins and Nana and Papa! Tomorrow, (FINALLY), I am taking Daniel in for his 4 month appointment and am anxious to see how he is growing and developing.

Oh, and a BIG shout out to my sister-in-law, Anni for her suggestion. You see, Daniel has been struggling to take naps, he doesn't like them, but at Anni's suggestion, Eric moved Daniel to various toys this morning at about fifteen to twenty minute intervals and we made a circle with them and when we put him down for his nap at 11 he slept until 430! YAY! And he was MUCH happier when he woke up from his nap than he has been a long time. I was very happy : )!
