Today we visited the doctor, and discovered that they had schedule us only for a doctors appointment and not the Ultrasound. While Jen was talking to the doctor I ran down to the lab and scheduled us for a couple hours later. It was quite the wait, but we ran over to Cafe Rio and got some lunch and checked out B&N, and Jen discovered the joy of having a baby sitting on your bladder and having to drink 40 ounces of fluid an hour before the appointment. Not the happiest camper, but what a mother will do to see her child, and it was totally worth it, as we got some awesome pictures. Although our adventure continued when we got back to the lab registered and were waiting for the ultrasound and then the registrar called us and said she had accidentally scheduled two people at the same time, and wanted us to come back the next day...which my wife did not want to repeat the fluids again, and the Rad Tech took us because we had got their first and the other person was still waiting for some people, so we got to go in and Baby Daniel was very cooperative and she got some good pics, as shown below, and said he is 9 oz. and looking healthy! It was awesome and made it so real, and now we are expecting Daniel Sherman Holbrook on May 23rd! Jen was excited because she wanted a boy and it was alot of texts and phone calls and a couple visits from there.
Hopefully we will be a little more dutiful on the blog, as while I am thinking about we have alot of things going on which I will update later, since this week I have some time as it is my slow time of year.
